Sunday Reset, 70s Style & Giving Life a Go ✨
TikTok & Instagram reel caption:
Sunday reset, with a little “Die With a Smile” energy. 🎶

A few photos, one fun video, and a reminder I needed too: don’t be afraid to step out there and join life.

You do not have to be perfect, trained or ready. You just have to give things a go.

Experiment. Try. Show up. Life is for living, not just watching from the sidelines. ✨

And I was feeling very 70s-inspired in my dungarees and flared bottoms. Someone even stopped me to ask where they were from, which made my fashion-loving heart very happy. 🤎

Sunday is my favourite day, after all. 🤍

We live in a transactional world… and it can mess

We live in a transactional world… and it can mess with our worth.

Somewhere along the way, we start believing our value depends on what we can offer: what we give, provide or do for other people.

But you are not a transaction.

Your worth is not in what you produce, achieve or exchange. It is in who you are, and in having the courage to be true to yourself.

Just be you. That is enough. 🤍

What is it costing you to try to be somebody else?

What is it costing you to try to be somebody else?

So many of us are told to “be authentic”, but then handed a prescription for how we should look, speak, work, build a business, find success or live our lives.

Follow these steps.
Use this formula.
Do it exactly this way.

Guidance can be useful, of course. But when there is no flexibility for the individual, people can become disconnected from themselves.

We start following someone else’s blueprint so closely that we lose the space to discover what we actually like, what matters to us, how we work best and who we are becoming.

And that is the real cost.

You waste time trying to fit into a version of life that may never have been designed for you, instead of learning to trust yourself and create a path that feels honest.

Learn from people. Take what helps. But leave room for your own voice, your own values and your own way of doing things. ✨

Eek, I'm using that A word as a hashtag

One of the things I value most about getting older

One of the things I value most about getting older, and hopefully wiser, is learning to trust myself.
When people tell you who they are, believe them.
When their actions show you what they are able or willing to give, believe that too.

You do not need to spend your time trying to decipher mixed messages, decode inconsistency, make excuses for someone, or hold on to their potential.

Accept people as they are. Let what they show you be the information you need.
There is so much peace in no longer trying to persuade people to be different, and instead choosing what feels clear, reciprocal and right for you. ✨
