I thought it was time to write ✍️ a let me introduce myself post.

🌟Hey there! I’m a 40-ish midlifer born in London to parents of Caribbean descent, and I’ve taken a non-traditional path in life. While I’ve experienced love, I’m still have not met the great love—and that’s perfectly okay! I’ve learned that living a rich, juicy life isn’t about ticking boxes or keeping up with the Joneses; it’s about being true to yourself and embracing who you are.
My happily ever after? It’s all about returning to my first love: storytelling. 📖✨ I also have a passion for solo travel, which once scared me but has now become one of my greatest joys. In 2008, I took a leap of faith and relocated to the Netherlands, leaving behind my then-boyfriend, family, and friends. It was a transformative experience that pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me discover who I truly am.Along this journey, I’ve met incredible people and forged lasting friendships.
When I’m not traveling or working, I’m dedicated to helping others as a freelance trainer and the founder of the Single Important Person® method—a way to prioritize yourself in a world that often encourages you to leave YOU behind. I empower mid-lifers to embrace their uniqueness and live their best lives through career coaching and confidence mentoring.Fashion is another passion of mine—especially vintage clothes! I love going on adventures 🤗 It was a bit of a surprise to be offered the opportunity to work on a project in Liverpool. I did feel a bit apprehensive about leaving and splitting my time between my home base in the south of England, as I live in a great neighbourhood, but it's been a lovely surprise.

it's great to step out of your comfort zone from time-to-time, as you never know what surprises or opportunities will come about.
